Jeandré le Roux – Spinto Lyric Tenor

South African spinto lyric tenor Jeandré, has been captivating audiences since 2011 with a voice of striking power, warmth and emotional depth. Performing across South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, he has built a reputation for commanding presence and heartfelt interpretation, equally at home in grand sacred works and on major public stages.

A Trinity College London graduate with distinction, Jeandré is celebrated for performances that combine vocal brilliance with dramatic sincerity. His repertoire includes some of the most beloved works in the classical canon, with featured soloist appearances in Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem and Haydn’s The Creation.

Beyond the concert hall, Jeandre has brought operatic passion to large-scale events, including opening televised international rugby fixtures and performing at the World Choir Games. He has appeared in Carmina Burana with Voices New Zealand, further cementing his standing as a dynamic and versatile tenor.

Endorsed by internationally acclaimed soprano Mirusia Louwerse, known as the Angel of Australia, and trained under maestro Chalium Poppy of MDW Vienna, Jeandré represents a new generation of tenor, powerful, refined and deeply expressive. He specialises in Classical-Crossover, Opera, Light Classics and Musical Theatre.
